Description
What is Killer Magazine?
Imagine allowing someone to open up one of two magazine to any page unknown to you, think of any of the listed killers and yet you’ll be able to tell the subject exact details about who they’re thinking of.
The magazine has been designed to look like one of those tabloid type rags you might find at a gas station or supermarket check out. Both magazines are about forty pages in length and each contains sixty-four different killers to choose from. The covers have been printed on heavy card stock for durability.
Presentation wise there’s a lot of room for variation. My favorite is to ask the subject to look through the magazine and imagine becoming one of the killers. The subject is then asked a series of question and is told to LIE in every response. Despite these strict conditions, the performer reverse engineers every lie the subject tells into the correct answer.
You’ll be able to tell the subject:
The killers gender
The killers name
Which of three types of killer the thought of person is
How many people the killer was convicted of killing
How many people the killer confessed to murdering
How that killer was sentenced/executed
What method that killer used to dispatch his or her pray
And what the killer’s motive was.
In reality all of this information may be gained from one question and it doesn’t have to be the same question every time if you wish to repeat it.
Included is a very special handling where you won’t have to ask the subject anything at all and yet you’ll have all of this information about the secretly thought of killer at your disposal to reveal as you wish.
Here are the some of the conditions in which Killer Magazine may be performed:
The subject has a free choice of either magazine.
Subject freely thinks of any killer on any page
At no time need the subject write anything down
At no time need the subject reveal any information about the thought of killer.
You may start revealing information about the freely thought of killer without the subject saying a word.
The subject doesn’t have to confirm any information.
There is no memorization required.
May be perform surrounded.
May be performed from another room.
There’s absolutely no fishing involved.
If you prefer to perform this as a psychic test as opposed to a lie detector the subject need not utter a word out loud. Simply concentrate on their killer and you start to reveal immediately. This option involves a small compromise to the above conditions.
Included are two magazines (volume one and volume two) and of course the instructions on how to do the effect.
