Completely Out of Order – Patrick G. Redford

The out of order series is where the order of a stacked deck stops being a limitation—and starts becoming a weapon.

Completely Out of Order is the long-awaited third volume in Patrick G. Redford’s stacked-deck series, and it goes further than any previous work in exploring what a deck can become once you stop treating the stack as something fragile. This book will change how you work with stacks forever.

Covering memorized decks, cyclical stacks (Si Stebbins), mathematical stacks, stay stacks, parallel/power stacks, impromptu stacks, half stacks, quarter stacks, and hybrid arrangements, it is the culmination of Patrick G. Redford’s work and the first book to treat disorder itself as a controllable resource.

Completely Out of Order boasts over fifty fully developed effects.

Inside, you’ll learn how to:

• Sort from chaos into stack using real-world methods, including multiple Chinese Shuffle systems to memorized order, Si Stebbins, and new deck order

• Move cleanly and invisibly between stacks—memorized to cyclical, cyclical to power stack, power stack to stay stack—sometimes from a shuffle

• Execute full-strength effects while the stack is falling apart, then rebuild it secretly under fire

• Deliberately destroy your stack for maximum impact and walk away clean

This volume contains working material—not theory dumps, not pipe dreams:

• Two-deck impossibilities that look like coincidence but hit like prophecy

• Stack-safe miracles, poker deals, faro demonstrations, impossible mind reading, and multiple selection routines

• Four-of-a-kind modes, romantic deal-outs, red-black miracles, and Gilbreath work that actually fools magicians

• The Echo Index Deluxe, a modular indexing system that turns duplicates, wallets, envelopes, and even business cards into weapons

• New Redford variation stacks, including Patrick Redford’s Redford-Lite and Jennifer Gwinn’s Tetra-Red, designed for speed, flexibility, and deception

Completely Out of Order is where Redford opens the vault.

You’ll find previously unpublished material from Bob Stencel’s private notebooks, plus collaborations with Max Maven, Matt Baker, Joshua Jay, Pit Hartling, and others—names that don’t lend their work lightly.
